Get in Shape Contest
January 2010

2010 marks our 10th year of our 12 week Get in Shape contest! The staff at the Yakima Athletic Club and YAC Fitness cannot think of a better way to start off a new decade than to offer a contest to our members that encourages and inspires a NEW YOU and we have done so for 10 successful years!  This year represents the second highest number of participants in the Get in Shape contest.We are hosting, 270 participants,WOW!

We have men and women competing for guaranteed $1,000 in the Open category, our Age Group categories have the largest number of participants making them eligible for potentially $1,000 or more for .rst place! The winner/employee category is competitive with a handful of returning winners who always prove to show promising results year after year. 

Our popular Team category has hit a milestone at an all time high of 38 TEAMS,  with individuals as young as 12 years of age and as wise as 70+ years of age, all competing to make a positive change in their lifestyle. At the end of 12 weeks, we will remeasure and take pictures again to compare your results.

We have a panel of 10 judges who will judge on visual change, weight and body fat loss or gain (depending on your goals).April 19th at 6pm we will announce the winners at YAC Fitness.The winner’s ceremony is open to the community and we encourage everyone to come and see/hear these amazing success stories that our members create; it is truly a life changing night.
