Summer 2010 Tennis Program

Little Hitters Teach and Play

• Tuesday / Thursday - 9:00 - 10:30 am • $25

Designed for ages 4 and up. Children are introduced to tennis basics from 9:00 - 9:45; Supervised play in a childcare setting from 9:45 - 10:30. This allows mom and dad time to work out, while the kids learn hand eye coordination, tennis and social skills.

Tennis 1

• Tennis 1 - Monday-Thursday - 10 - 11:30 am • $42

Designed for those who have had little or no exposure to tennis. The class will cover stroke production, match play and court etiquette. Limited to 12 students per session.

Tennis 2

• Monday-Thursday - 10:00am - 12:00pm • $50

Designed for those who have tennis experience and are working toward mastery of all basic strokes. The class will focus on stroke production with an introduction to competitive play. Limited to 12 students per session.

Rates listed are member prices; nonmembers add $10 additional fee.

Summer 2011 Tennis Camp

• Ages 4-15 • $70
• Monday - Thursday, 9:00-noon

2011 Tennis Camp Dates: TBA

Children ages 4 to 15 are invited to come out with our staff to learn skills and play games different from those learned in the regular session. From Water balloons to the slip n slide...FUN, FUN, FUN! Camp t-shirt and water bottle included. Limited to 15 players

Tennis Courts at Yakima Athletic Club The Yakima Athletic Club offers two outdoor tennis courts and provides tennis lessons for youth and adults during the spring, summer, and fall. Our tennis instruction philosophy is to use a small student ratio to each instructor so that more effective learning can take place. The courts are also lined for pickelball, a sport anyone can play. Come to the Yakima Athletic Club to to enjoy a day in the sun - a game of tennis with a dip in the pool.
