At the Yakima Athletic Club, we know that youth fitness is an essential part of the beginning of a healthy lifestyle. At age 12 our youth members can use the facility with their parents. We also offer a variety of athletic training and opportunities throughout the year. Check out our Youth training opportunities below. JUNIOR LIFTER CERTIFICATION

The Junior Lifter certification is for ages 12-15 who want to independently use the weight room and cardio equipment without a parent or guardian present. Your child will be led by one of our certified personal trainers who will show them how to safely use the gym equipment by following our YAC Member Workout Guidelines and expected etiquette. You can become a Jr lifter by participating in the 1-hour certification. Members should call the club or register for the Junior Lifter Certification in the YAC APP.

ATHLETE TRAINING

Our fitness department is working hard to provide our local athletes with specialized training opportunities at the Yakima Athletic Club. Led by one of our Certified Personal Trainers, these five-week sessions will focus on developing muscular strength and proper form that can help them take their game (and fitness) to the next level. TEAM TRAINING

Team Training is a great way to take your Athlete or Team to the next level! Programmed specifically with the Athlete/Team's goals in mind; our EXOS and NASM Performance Specialists will put together the perfect combination of Strength, Speed, Power and Agility to increase their performance in the game.

Scheduling: 4-8 week Sessions Available. Meet 2-3 times per week, depending on your Team’s availability.

Cost: $100.00 per Training Session for 5-10 athletes ($10 each additional person up to 20)
