Skills & Drills Labs:

Focus Clinics:

Topic-based clinics are held monthly.

Strategy Session: 300- 400 Level

60 min playing session with 1 coach & 3 students.  Gameplay and point breakdown were discussed throughout the session.

Skills & Drills Lab 250  Series:  2.5 Skill Level

Designed for the 2.5 Player looking to break through to 3.0

Start your journey to greatness with a solid foundation.  With 250 Class you get a weekly dose of fundamental mechanics and drills to build lasting muscle memory.  Each 60 min class focuses on key shots needed to take your game to the Next Level!

Designed for the 3.0 Player looking to breakthrough to 3.5

Build upon your solid foundation by further honing the essentials of your game with Next Level 300 Class.  Refine and hone the principle shots of the game with a weekly dose of instruction and drills.  Each 60 min class focuses on the key techniques and tactics needed to take your game to the Next Level!

MEET OUR COACHES

Carrie Sattler

Director of YAC Pickleball Training Academy
Carrie Sattler, Director of Pickleball and Group Fitness Manager at the Yakima Athletic Club, is a Certified Level 2 Professional with the Professional Pickleball Registry. PPR is the official education and certification partner of USA Pickleball. Carrie started playing pickleball back in the 80’s with the wooden paddle and developed her love of the game thanks to her background in tennis and racquetball. Since 2021, Carrie has played in over 27 tournaments regionally and is a multi-medal winner for many of these tournaments. She recently competed in the PPA World Championships in her age group and earned two Silver Medals, one in 4.0 Women’s Doubles and in 4.0 Women’s Singles. Carrie is also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Les Mills Group Fitness instructor and has made her career working at the Yakima Athletic Club.

Allan Villamil Espinoza

YAC Pickleball Training Academy Coach
Allan Villamil-Espinoza, is a Certified Level 1 Coach with the Professional Pickleball Registry. PPR is the official education and certification partner of USA Pickleball. Allan started playing pickleball in 2022 after moving from Costa Rica, with many hours of dedication and practice he was able to adapt quickly and effectively to the sport and has progressed to a 4.0 skill level and plays at the 4.5 level in tournaments around the state. His time as a Coach has been very beneficial as it has allowed him to gain a lot of knowledge about the study of pickleball and how to help others increase their ability in the game.
