How were you introduced to YAC water fitness?

“A friend invited me to come along one time and I was instantly hooked. At the first class, I loved it. I was just visiting for a while $!0 each class. Unfortunately, she had to stop going to class and I had a decision to make. Should I join – go alone- or stop? There was a quick internal struggle, deciding whether to keep going or stop. I was worried at first about paying a monthly due but I was feeling so good after class and my health had changed so much for the better. I learned a long time ago that you can’t wait for others to join you in something you are interested in. Waiting for people to join you in an activity you like may leave you in a lurch. I was seeing results too. I was down 39 pounds. So, I decided to take the leap and join monthly. I am not afraid to go alone, I go faithfully because I pay for it. I get to meet new people and I have grabbed the bull by the horns.”

How many days a week do you come to class?

“Tuesdays and Fridays: double classes back-to-back. I am so busy I only have two days a week that I can go. I have made YAC water fitness a priority and scheduled other things around the classes. “

How has water fitness changed your body-strength- lifestyle habits?

“My stamina is so much better even though I do not feel all that much stronger. My clothes are not as tight. I do not have to hold my breath or huff and puff when putting socks and shoes on anymore. Water fitness has helped me create much better eating habits based on my activities. I have changed my entire lifestyle by making my health and fitness a real priority. I love the results I am experiencing.

P.S. My insurance pays for me to go anywhere, but I choose to pay to go to the Yakima Athletic Club. I love YAC water fitness!!! It has changed my life!!”
